Rowan Atkinson is back as Johnny English in this sequel to the 2003 spy comedy. Not a lot was promised for this film by the distribution company, and rightfully so. It’s just as disappointing and slightly below average as the first, but maybe with a better cast this time round.
 
I don’t know what it is about Johnny English that I don’t really like. Perhaps it’s the style of comedy that only young teens would find funny with today’s standards. The reason I wanted to watch this film was because I found the first film funny… When I was 13! Watching it at the age of 22 was sorely disappointing.
I laughed a few times, mostly at the shame I felt for watching such a terrible film, and on that basis I will say that it’s vaguely entertaining. But unless you’re 13 or on drugs, don’t bother.
